Product Description
Protection current transformers are constructed to feed the protection relay. These type of current transformers are mainly used class 3. (Customer supplied when required. )
The matters during the mounting of current transformer will be taken into consideration:
1) Don't open secondary circuit when current available in primary.
2) Current transformer are produced as a singlephase.
3) Resistance of current transformer is very low, so the secondary winding of current transformer should be operated as a short-circuit, when required test operation. Otherwise, this causes high voltage and will be dangerous for person.
